- Outline the primary biller workflow for viewing and making charge capture addendum requests.

Introduction
- The addendum request workflow enables billers to use their DocNow EHR system to contact providers about making addendums to specific charges.
What You Can Do:

- Filter and navigate to encounters by a handful of useful fields.
- Use the Search function to quickly select a specific provider, facility, or patient within a day, week, or multi-month range.
- Create and update the Billed Status for Addendum Requests.
- Write notes to the provider from your interface, which will show up conveniently on the Provider's side.

Making an Addendum Request
Once your Administrator has enabled this function, you will be able to make addendum requests within your Charge Capture page.
1. Navigate to your Charge Capture page and filter for the encounter(s) in question:
2. Drill down using the 👁️🗨️ view function under the Operations column on the far right:
3. Toggle the Billed Status column to 'Addendum REQ'
4. A 'Success' pop up will be displayed acknowledging the function has been completed.
Adding Comments to Providers
To add clarity and context to your addendum request, use the Comment function under your Action column:
Using the Addendum REQ Dashboard
Aggregate and review multiple outstanding addendum requests in one place using your 'Addendum REQ' page.
- Once in the Addendum REQ page, you can use date range and additional optional filters to surface only what you need to review.

Auditing a Note for Addendum Requests
Submitted addendums automatically notify the requesting Biller in their notifications in the upper right (A) and are added to the charge history in your Charge Capture view (B), shown below:
