WoundNow | Census Navigation & Creation on Mobile

Purpose

• Explain the census layout and fields of the WoundNow mobile app
• Show how to create a new census on WoundNow
• Introduce adding patients while on mobile with WoundNow

Considerations

• The dimensions of your mobile app may vary based on device version and size
• Census creation, notes, pictures, and documentation on WoundNow automatically syncs with your DocNow EHR browser portal on desktop.

Census Navigation & Creation

Logging In

Use the same credentials as you use for your web DN Portal on your browser

 

Census Navigation

1) List of Censuses per Facility: After logging in, you will land on a list of censuses for your facility, chronologically ordered with the newest on top.

• • • Tap 'Draft Wounds' to view wounds across your facilities that are still undergoing documentation and have not been signed & uploaded

✏️Note on syncing:

Draft wounds will stay on your device (will not sync to web) until submitted.

They can still be edited on phone or web after submitted.

They can not be edited on phone or web once the corresponding note is signed on web. 

• • • Tap the name of the current facility to open a pop up for other available facilities and their respective censuses (shown in the 2nd screenshot below)
    • Tap 'Load More' to see more historical censuses at the given facility
    • Tap 'Create Census' to set up a new census 

                   

2) Viewing Your Census: Once you click on a specific date-of-service (DOS), the census (patient list) will appear. 

• • • Searching for Patients in an Existing Census: For facilities with large censuses, search for a specific patient name to find their chart:

    • Viewing Active Wounds: Tap the active wounds icon to view wounds yet to be resolved:

             

• • • Patient Quick View: Tap the down arrow for a quick view of patient MRN# and demographics:

    • Viewing Comments: While the patient quick view is open, tap the blue 'plus' symbol to view and/or add a comments:

     

 

Census Creation

1) Select Facility & Tap 'Create Census'

2) Optional: Import from Previous Census and Change Name

3) Add Patients
