• Visualization Enhancements: Integrated pie charts and dashboards improve data interpretation.

Considerations

• Data Accuracy: Ensure that the data entered into the system (e.g., patient information, wound etiology, and status updates) is accurate and up to date. 
• Understanding Metrics: Familiarize yourself with key metrics such as Total in Remission, Average (AVG), and % in Remission. Understanding these terms will help you interpret the dashboard's data effectively and make informed decisions.
• Filter Selection: Be precise when applying filters (e.g., date ranges, facilities, practitioners) to avoid overwhelming results or missing important data. Start with broader filters and narrow down as needed.
• Export Limitations: While the dashboard supports exporting to CSV and Excel, the PDF export feature is still under development. Plan accordingly if you need to share reports in specific formats.
• Performance Considerations: For larger datasets, the dashboard may take a few moments to load. Ensure a stable internet connection to avoid interruptions and allow time for the system to process and display results.

How to Use

1. Access the Dashboard

• Navigate to the Analytics and Reporting module.

• Select the Wound Outcome Dashboard from the available options.

2. Apply Filters

Customize your report with these filters:

• Date: Choose a custom range (e.g., last 7 days, previous month).
• Facility: Select one or more facilities.
• Practitioner: Filter by individual or multiple practitioners.
• Wound Status: Choose statuses like “Open,” “Healing,” or “Resolved.”
• Wound Etiology: Filter by wound causes such as diabetic ulcer or venous ulcer.
• Patient Status: Include active, discharged, or null categories for comprehensive data.

3. Analyze the Data

GROUPINGS:

The dashboard provides rich patient-specific metrics by 3 grouping options: practitioner, facility, or wound type:

1) Practitioner

• Provider: Name or identifier of the practitioner.
• Etiology: Wound causes (e.g., diabetic ulcer, pressure ulcer).
• Metrics:
  • Total in Remission: Number of wounds healed under this practitioner.
  • Average (AVG): Average days to remission.
  • Median: Median days to remission.
  • Total Outcome: Total outcomes recorded for this practitioner-etiology pair.
  • % in Remission: Percentage of outcomes resulting in remission.

2) Facility

• Facility Name: Name of the healthcare facility.
• Etiology: Wound causes treated at the facility.
• Metrics:
  • Total in Remission: Number of patients achieving remission.
  • AVG and Median: Average and median remission times.
  • Total Outcome: Total outcomes recorded.
  • % in Remission: Percentage of outcomes resulting in remission.

3) Wound Type

• Etiology: Types of wounds (e.g., venous ulcer, pressure ulcer).
• Metrics:
  • Total in Remission: Number of patients achieving remission.
  • AVG and Median: Average and median remission times.
  • Total Outcome: Total outcomes recorded.
  • % in Remission: Remission percentage.
