Custom Wound Report

Purpose

• The Wound Detail Report allows users to generate customizable, in-depth reports on patient wounds. This tool enables clinicians and administrators to select specific data fields and filter by date and facility to monitor wound care across any timeframe.

Considerations

• Preconditions:
  Before generating the report, users must:
  • • Select a Date Range
    • Choose a Facility
    • Select one or more Data Options
• Default Selections:
  • • The Facility and Patient options are selected by default when the report loads.
• Flexible Layout:
  • • Users can drag and drop selected data options to customize the layout of the report columns.
• Common Data Fields Available: Users can choose from a wide range of wound-related data options, including:

  • • Change Frequency

      Etiology

      Pain Level

      Primary Treatment

      Cleanse Wound With

      Days in Treatment

      Granulation, Odor, Location, and many others

Instructions / How to

1. Accessing the Report
   • • Navigate to the Wound Detail Report section from the reporting dashboard.
2. Selecting Filters and Data Options
   • • Use the calendar to select the relevant date range (e.g., Jun 5, 2025 – Jun 11, 2025).
     • Use the facility dropdown to select the appropriate location (only facilities associated with your user account will appear).
     • On the left-hand panel titled Data Options, check the boxes next to the data elements you wish to include.
3. Customizing Column Layout

   • • Use drag-and-drop functionality within the Data Options panel to reorder how columns appear in the report.

     • The preview area will update accordingly to show your selected layout.

4. Generating the Report
   • • Once filters and data options are selected, click the "Generate Report" button at the top right of the screen.
     • The report will display as a table, with each column representing the selected data (e.g., Etiology, Pain, Primary Treatment).

5. Saving and Downloading

   1. • Click "Save as Favorite" to store this specific configuration for future reuse.

      • To download the current report, click the Download button (located at the top of the page).

 

Troubleshooting

• Report Won’t Load:
  • • Ensure that all preconditions (date, facility, at least one data option) are selected.
• Missing Columns:
  • • Revisit the Data Options panel to make sure the desired fields are checked.
• Unable to Reorder Columns:
  • • Make sure you're dragging from the data options box. If drag-and-drop is not responding, try refreshing your browser.
• Saved Favorite Not Appearing:
  • • Confirm that you're logged into your account and have the appropriate permissions to save report views.
