Overview
Occasionally providers need to add patients to DocNow from PCC when the PCC facility has not been integrated within DocNow. This article covers the use case where practices wish to manually manage PCC patients in DocNow but maintain progress notes and records within PCC without an integration.
Non-Integrated Facilities: Patient data is manually entered and maintained within DocNow including patient demographics, insurance, vitals, and allergies.
Integrated Facilities: Patient data is synced with an external EHR such as PointClickCare or MatrixCare. This data is maintained in these external systems and cannot be updated by DocNow admins or providers within DocNow directly.
