What’s new in DocNow
New features, fixes, and improvements across your DocNow workspace.
Clinical Notes
1Post-sign navigation to the encounter
After a provider signs a clinical note, DocNow now automatically returns to the parent encounter view — eliminating the extra step of navigating back manually and making it easier to continue the rest of the encounter's work.
Patient Census
1Census name column with filter and sort
The census list now displays each census's name as the primary column. You can filter and sort by name to quickly find the right session, and the list layout is more compact so more sessions are visible at once.
Patient Chart
2Vital signs can be marked as entered in error
When a DocNow-created vital observation is recorded by mistake, clinicians can now flag it as "entered in error." The measurement is removed from the chart view and a full audit trail is preserved. EHR-imported vitals remain read-only and cannot be retired.
Navigation labels and section headings now match
Chart section labels are consistent across the navigation and the chart itself — "Notes" is now "Patient Notes," "Problem List" is now "Diagnosis List," and "Alerts" is now "Flags."
Charge Capture
1Patient flag modifiers are applied automatically
When a CPT charge is added, DocNow now automatically applies the appropriate billing modifier for any active patient flags — for example, the Hospice GW modifier is applied when a Hospice flag is active. No manual modifier selection required.
