Overview
The Venture IVR Integration streamlines the process of placing an IVR (Insurance Verification Request) for wound care products from Venture Medical directly through DocNow. This integration aims to improve efficiency, reduce manual data entry, and simplify insurance verification.
- The integration will allow users to select wound care products from DocNow and submit IVR requests seamlessly.
- The process will automate insurance verification and data submission to Venture Medical.
User Workflow
1. Accessing the IVR Integration
In the skin/wound tab in the user's right-side panel of their note-wrtier, users will see a referral option (bell icon) with a dropdown list of configured products with POS.
2. Submitting an IVR Request
Upon selecting a product from the dropdown, all relevant data is automatically sent to Venture Medical.
2a. [Above screenshot]: Once Clicked, this pop up will appear with product drop down, place of service dropdown, and a searchable field for ICD-10 codes. There will be pre-selected codes that match the selected code in the charge capture diagnosis column. These can be de-selected if needed. All three fields are required.
2b) [Above screenshot]: Drop down for Products and POS will match what was set up on the Admin portal. Once both Product and ICD-10 is selected, order button will appear blue. However, POS is also required and should be selected.
3. Tracking IVR Requests
- After submission, the bell icon changes to blue, indicating that the request has been sent.
- The request is sent to Venture Medical for insurance verification and processing.
- Users will receive updates on approval status and further actions required.
4. Post-IVR Submission Process
- Once an IVR request is approved, the product is not automatically shipped.
- Users must confirm the order before shipment to account for any changes in patient needs.
- Venture Medical processes the order and ships it as part of just-in-time delivery.
