Introduction
As a company admin, you might often need to create new user accounts during a new facility goes live, hiring new employees, etc. Currently, there are the below 6 user account types that you can select for different users:
- Provider
- Nurse
- Biller
- Medical Assistant
- Wound Nurse
- View only user
This article will walk you through the steps to create a new user account.
Add a new user account
- In the admin portal, click on the “Users” tab
- Click on “Add User” on the top right
- Fill in the info needed to create a new user
- If creating a Test provider account, choose “Provider” and a “Sub Provider Type” field will appear. Choose “Test Provider” under this field:

- When finished, click on “Save” on the lower right.
Please note that the email address or mobile number will be used to perform 2-factor authentication when logging into DoctorNow. 2-factor authentication code must be sent to the entered mobile number during the initial log-in, but may be changed to be sent to email afterwards.
Once your account is created, the user will be emailed a registration link to complete their registration within 24 hours. If the user doesn’t complete registration within the first 24 hours, please contact the admin or support@doctornow.io to re-generate the registration link.
