Unable to Sign Notes | Troubleshooting

Introduction

You might encounter various situations which prevent you from signing your notes. This article will explain how to troubleshoot the most common causes regarding note signing issues.

Incomplete note documentation

If you still have the red warning text above the note editing field, your note documentation is incomplete and needs to be addressed. Please address all of the incomplete ***, dropdown menu, and/or dot phrases before proceeding to sign your note.

Limited Facility Access

If you finish your note documentation, click on the blue “Sign” button to sign the note and receive errors messages that read "FAILED. User is not authorized to access this patient" or “Failed. User does not have permission to access the requested resource”, please check with your facility admin to ensure whether you have access to these patient(s).
