Charting | Smart Phrases (aka Dot-Phrases)

Overview

• You can save time by creating shortcuts, known as dot phrases, to quickly insert commonly used phrases and paragraphs in DocNow.
• Dot phrases are designed to streamline your note-taking process. They can also be shared among providers, allowing you to build a shared database of frequently used terms and text, customized to fit your needs.

Adding a Dot Phrase

1) Places to Start

• • If you have a note open already, go to 'Phrases' in your right-side note panel
  • Otherwise, go to "Smart Drive">>Phrases>>Add in your main top bar menu

2) Creation

• • If you have a note open already, go to 'Phrases' in your right-side note panel

3) Charting with Dot Phrases

• • Activate a dot-phrases by typing the period-punctuation and the first few letters of the dot-phrase shortcut (name).

• • The content of your phrase will then populate in blue
