New Feature Details

Customize Visibility for Charge Capture Tabs

Overview

Administrators now have the ability to show or hide tabs within the Provider>>Progress Notes>>Charge Capture screen to ensure providers are guided to the appropriate tab for locating ICD10s and CPTs.

Admin Portal

1. Navigate to the Company Settings screen (Admin Portal>>Company Settings>>Welcome Banner>>Settings) then select Company Settings
2. Use the checkboxes to show (checked) or hide (unchecked) the tabs for the Provider

Provider Portal

The Charge Capture screen for providers will be customized based on the admin configuration of tabs.

Tags added to the exported PPL Report

Overview

Companies using the Practice Patient List can now see Tags when exporting the PPL to PDF or XLSX.

Strike Out Note Enhancement for Reports and Charge Capture

Overview

• Notes struck out by a user are now omitted from the Admin>>Dashboard>>Charge Capture>>Grouped Report meaning they are not accumulated as part of the note Count field for a provider row.
• Notes struck out by a user are now listed within the the Admin>>Dashboard>>Charge Capture>>Full Report as "Omitted" allowing the Admin to view data on all notes created by a provider even if they have been struck out
• Notes struck out by a user are now omitted from queries returned by the Reporting & Analytics Module

Encounter Status added to Census Admin Report

Overview

Encounter Status has been added to the Census Admin Report. Encounter Status displayed as Incomplete or Complete depending on the number of patients, signed notes, and submitted charges. All three of these values must be non-zero and equal for a census to be considered Complete.

Practice Permission: Prompt for Template

Overview

DocNow Super Users have access to a new Practice Permission to enable or disable the prompting of a note template when providers first open a note.

Medicaid/Medicare Fields Added to Edit Patient Screen

Overview

Medicaid number and Medicare number fields have been added to the Edit Patient screen. For integrated PCC facilities these map to the Medicaidnumber and MedicareBeneficiaryIdentifier fields.
