Version Details

Live Release Date: 07/30/2026 (scheduled)
New Feature Details
Improved Notes Search and Export
The Admin Dashboard → Notes screen now supports viewing notes across longer date ranges, including up to 12 months at a time. Users can filter notes by provider, facility, or note status and export matching signed notes as PDF files in a downloadable ZIP package.
Added Totals to the Days to Heal Report
The Days to Heal Report now includes a totals row at the bottom of the By Facility and By DN tables. Totals for the average, median, and count columns are available in both the on-screen report and the exported PDF.
Improved Place of Service Selection
Place of Service values are now automatically selected based on the time between the patient’s admission date and date of service. The same logic applies to CPT codes added manually or through procedures, including procedures that add multiple CPT codes. Any configured default CPT-to-POS association continues to take priority.
Added Wound ICD-10 Codes to Procedure Notes
Procedure notes for debridement and chemical cauterization now automatically include the wound number and the ICD-10 codes associated with the selected wound procedure.
Improved Place of Service Selection
DocNow now automatically selects the appropriate Place of Service based on the number of days between the patient’s admission date and the date of service, using a 100-day threshold. This logic applies when CPT codes are added manually through Charge Capture or automatically through wound procedures, including procedures that generate multiple CPT codes. Any default CPT-to-POS association configured for the practice will continue to take priority over the automated selection.
Improved Support for Provider Names
Provider first and last names can now include spaces and hyphens, allowing legal names to be entered and displayed accurately.
Improved Progress Note PDF Readability
Progress Notes downloaded as PDFs now use a larger, more readable font size consistent with the legacy application. The existing header, patient information, signatures, and audit details remain unchanged.
Data Export
A 90-day data export was generated based on date of service, including encounter IDs, provider names, dates of service, submission or signing dates, and encounter note text.
Bug Fixes
Enhanced AI Camera with LiDAR Measurement Support
The AI Camera now uses LiDAR technology on supported devices to capture wound depth data and provide more precise measurements of wound length, width, and depth.
Corrected Provider Associations for MA Users
Providers removed from an MA user’s associations no longer appear in the provider dropdown. The Submit for Review option now displays correctly based on the MA user’s current provider associations.
Corrected Patient Last Seen Dates in the Wound Assessment Dashboard
The Wound Assessment Dashboard now displays each patient’s latest date of service correctly. The Last Seen date updates when a note is signed, a charge is submitted, or a wound is created, while activity on an older date of service no longer replaces the most recent date.
Corrected Signatures on Progress Notes
Progress Notes now display the signature of the provider who actually signed or co-signed the note, rather than the note owner’s signature. Affected historical notes have also been updated to show the correct signer information.
Corrected Wound Assessment Procedure Phrases
Wound assessment phrases now stay synchronized with procedure updates. When procedure types or categories are changed, the resolved phrase refreshes to display the current information accurately.
Corrected Patient Information in Submitted Visits
Submitted visits and downloaded records now display patient names and dates of birth correctly, preventing missing or undefined patient information.
Resolved Duplicate Patient Records
Duplicate patient records were merged to ensure the affected patients display correctly and no longer appear as undefined.
Corrected Addendum Uploads
Provider addendums now upload correctly to PCC, and submission status remains synchronized between the provider and admin portals.
Corrected ICD Codes on Patient Charts
Patient charts now display the correct patient-specific ICD-10 codes. Codes from previously viewed patients are no longer carried over, and ICD-10 information remains consistent between notes and Charge Capture.
Corrected Patient Facility Assignments
DocNow now more accurately associates patients with the correct facility. Patient records are validated using admission dates, service dates, and current facility information to prevent patients from appearing under an incorrect facility.
Improved Registration Email Delivery
Registration emails for new users are now delivered reliably, allowing users to complete account setup without repeated resend attempts.
Corrected Specialty-Specific Note Content
Orthopedic follow-up templates now load the correct specialty content and no longer pull information from a patient’s previous cardiology note.
Resolved Provider Login Issue
Providers can now log in to DocNow successfully. An issue that caused certain providers to receive an unexpected error during sign-in has been corrected, restoring normal access to the application.
