New Feature Details

MIPs Measure 238 - Use of High-Risk Medications in Older Adults 

DocNow now supports MIPs Measure 238: Use of High-Risk Medications in Older Adults. This measure tracks the percentage of patients 65 years of age and older who were ordered at least two high-risk medications from the same drug class. Measure 238 is a two-submission-criteria measure and is processed as two separate MIPs items within the DocNow system (238-1 and 238-2).

MIPs Measure 493 (Submission Criteria 5) - Assessment of Older Adults 

DocNow now supports Submission Criteria 5 for MIPs Measure 493: Assessment of Older Adults. With this update, all five submission criteria for Measure 493 are now fully supported and can be captured and submitted through the MIPs workflow.

PDPM Facility Report - NTA Points Calculation Update

The NTA Contributed Points calculation in the PDPM Facility Report has been updated. Previously, the report displayed the sum of NTA Comorbidity Category (NCC) points for each unique NCC across the entire facility. The report now calculates NCC points for each unique NCC per patient, providing a more accurate representation of NTA contributions at the patient level before aggregating to the facility total.
