Version Details
Main DocNow Release Version: 31.0.0
Sprint: Main 31
Live Release Date: 12/10/2025
New Feature Details
Wound Assessment Menu Improvements
The Wound Assessment Menu has been improved with the addition of a Cancel button. Prior to this improvement users were obligated to complete a wound assessment but now users can cancel out of the assessment so that an unnecessary assessment is not created.
Shared Section Phrases
Shared Section Phrases can now be deleted by a company admin which brings these section phrases into alignment with other phrases managed by Company Admins.
Template Headings - Make Mandatory
When an administrator marks a system heading as mandatory within the template editor, users will not be able to delete that header from their note documentation within the note editor.
Restrictions on adding multiple follow-up assessments
To protect against unintentional wound assessments, Providers are now restricted from adding a follow-up assessment on the same Date of Service (DOS) as the initial assessment. Furthermore, once a follow-up assessment has been added an additional follow-up assessment on the same DOS is not allowed. In both of these scenarios the Add F/U Assessment button will be grayed out.
Scheduler Enhancement for Editing Time Blocks
Administrators can now edit blocks of time using the edit icon within the Admin Portal>>Scheduler.
Custom Post Round Report
Administrators now have the ability to configure a Custom Post Round Report and save the report to be accessed by other administrators or providers. To access this report it must first be enabled by a DocNow representative.
Note: Custom Post Round Reports are only configurable by Administrators through the Admin Portal. Providers can access, generate and download configured reports but do not have the ability to build a custom report themselves.
- Once enabled, navigate to Admin Portal>>Reporting & Analytics>>Custom Post Round Report
- Select Data Option to configure a new report
- Select the desired data fields for the report. Drag and drop items using the blue header bar to adjust the order displayed in the generated report.
- Select Generate Report to run the report
- Select Save to save the report for future use. This will also allow Providers the ability to view and run the report.
- Select the Download button to export the report in various formats. Selecting Send Email to Facility POC will email the report (xlsx) to the Contacts associated with the selected facility
