New Feature Details

New DDS User Role 

A new DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) user role has been created to support dental practices. The DDS role mirrors the existing MD role with the same permission set and background coding, providing dental providers with a role designation that accurately reflects their credentials.

Days to Heal Report - Current Wound Status Filter, Exclude Zero Healed Count

The Days to Heal report now includes the option to filter and display only wounds that were healed during the selected date range. This allows the Days to Heal report to align with the QAPI report when using a similar date range filter.

Additionally, users have the option to exclude wound types e.g. etiologies with a healed count of zero from the Days to Heal report. This filter applies to the Facility and By DN tables as well as exported XLSX and PDF files, allowing users to focus on wound types that have recorded healing activity.

QAPI Report Improvements to Current Wound Status

The QAPI Report for Wounds and QAPI Report for Wound Progress Summary reports now include the option to filter and display only wounds that were healed during the selected date range when the Report Current Wound Status checkbox is selected as OFF/Unchecked. 

 

Support User Workflows in 3-Legged Environment

Users accessing a 3-legged facility while in a 2-legged authentication state can now view the daily census and create notes without first logging into the 3-legged authentication. Patient data may not reflect the most recent updates from the integrated system, but providers can proceed with documentation workflows without being blocked.

Admin Configuration - Enable/Disable Email Reports

DocNow Super Users  now have the ability to enable or disable emailing of reports from the Admin Portal. This will allow practices to choose if they would like any of their available Reporting and Analytics content to have the option of being sent to contacts associated to a given facility. If you would like any reports to be enabled for sending to facility contacts, please contact support or your DocNow account manager. 

Once the setting is enabled, any facilities that you have selected in your report filtering will be sent the current filtered results. Please note - any facility selected receives all filtered results, so in most cases you should only filter for one facility.
