New Feature Details
Dot Phrase for Orders
Users can now use the .orders@dn dot phrase for adding patient orders to progress notes. This new dot phrase is also accompanied with a System Header for templates. The .orders@dn dot phrase contains the following information:
Date
Patient name
Patient date of birth
Patient gender
Patient medical record number
Order type
Order name
Order description (only displayed in the progress note if present in the original order)
ICD10 code associated with the order (if present in the original order)
RVU Report - Patient Name Added
Patient Name (Patient) has now been added to the RVU Report.
Medication PCC Dot Phrase Clean Up
Some duplicate information previously displayed in the meds_long@pcc has now been resolved. .meds_long@pcc will now resolve to <Description><Directions> which includes strength, units of measurement and frequency.
TrueRCM Integration
DocNow has released a new feature for supporting integration with TrueRCM for MIPs submissions. Talk with your DocNow Account Manager for more details.
Co-signing User Permission
Co-Signing previously was only applicable to Providers with NP or PA titles. DocNow has expanded this feature to be applicable to any Provider/Test Provider regardless of title. Learn more in the Co-signing article here.
Admin Portal
Login to the Admin Portal and navigate to the Users screen
A new user permission has been added to Providers and Test Providers.
Scheduler Drag and Drop Enhancement
On the Scheduler tab, any existing appointment will have the ability to be dragged and dropped anywhere within the currently filtered schedule for the day view and the month view within the selected Provider's schedule. Appointments can be moved if there are no associated notes or charges with the encounter.
DOS Comments Added To Daily Census
Providers will now be able to choose if they would like to only see census comments which correspond with the date of service of whatever census they are viewing. This setting is in the census column options and is named Comments - DOS. When Comments - DOS is selected then only comments that were entered on the same DOS as the census being viewed will be shown in the comments column on the census. When Comments - DOS is selected, if there are no comments that were entered on the same DOS as the census no comments will be shown in the comments column on the census.
